A few years ago a brand new product made a splash in the weight loss pill market and is continuing to ripple through the health supplement community. African Mango claims to lower cholesterol levels, control blood sugar levels, cause weight loss, and suppress appetite. That is quite a claim, even for a scientifically backed product. Does African Mango actually work?
Where African Mango Comes From:
Originally used as a traditional food and medicine by people of western Africa, (the Benin Army of the early 19th century used it to keep their troops in fighting shape) African Mango was brought to the attention of scientists in the late 20th century. After twenty years of research and testing, African Mango was released onto the market.
Putting African Mango to the Test
The weight loss supplement is actually an extract taken from the nuts, or seeds, of the fruit. The extract, referred to as IGOB131, has been tested numerous times and has performed above and beyond expectations. Three of the main studies yielded especially impressive results. The first test was conducted with 100 obese or overweight people. A percentage took a placebo, while the rest were dosed twice daily with the Irvingia gabonensis extract. Two and a half months later, the pill had not only been proven to lower body weight, but also control leptin, a hormone which participates in regulating metabolism (obesity is caused when leptin doesn’t work right).
Next, African Mango was tested to see what it did concerning test subjects’ appetites. Subjects were given a controlled diet. Two months later no one reported hunger, despite eating much less. Some may say this is due to conditioning, but the extract was also proven to slow down the digestive system, so people are fuller for longer.
The third test combined African Mango extract with a fat burner and test subjects continued their regular lives, with no changes to diet or exercise regime. They still lost weight and slimmed down. Again, African Mango extract proved itself to be an appetite suppressant.
The End Result
So Does African Mango/Irvingia gabonensis really work? Yes. It has certainly been tried and found true again and again. It is scientifically proven and has made a difference in many peoples’ lives. We recommend anyone who wants to lose weight and improve their all-around health to use African Mango and see for themselves what it can do.Label: CPA, Health and Beauty
